Hey everyone we are back and we bring you some very easy
breakfast recipes that are easy as well as delicious. I have started to become
obsessed with smoothie bowls during this hot summer season. It is cool, refreshing
and healthy and makes you spend less time in a hot greasy kitchen.
Smoothie bowls are a
great breakfast dish that are packed with fruits, nutrients, fiber and protein.
The best thing about it is that it has a creamy soft serve type consistency, so

This breakfast option is my favorite because when you’re in
a rush or are craving something sweet you can make a smoothie bowl. It is quick
and easy to make, satisfying and filling and the best part it requires only a
few ingredients a blender, a bowl and guess what? You’re done!
1.
Banana Berry
So let’s get started with this first one.
If you’re a banana lover you’re going to love this.
·
Take 2 frozen bananas and
about 7-8 blueberries
·
Add them to a blender on
low speed and blend till smooth
·
The mix is going to be
thick so use a spoon or spatula to loosen up the fruit a bit
·
Serve in a cute wooden
smoothie bowl if you have one and decorate with blueberries, any neutral
tasting cereal, blackberries and pumpkin seeds

Mango Love
·
Take around a cup full of
frozen mango and 1 frozen banana
·
Blend them on low speed
·
Scrape the sides of blender
and Loosen up the mix with a spoon if it is thick
·
Switch to high speed and
blend till mix is creamy and smooth
·
Check the taste, you can
add more frozen mango if you want
·
Serve in a bowl and garnish
with mango chunks, cut up banana, shaved coconut

Peanut Butter
·
Take around 1 ½ frozen
bananas and 2 tablespoons of peanut butter
·
Blend them on low speed
·
Scrape the sides of blender
and Loosen up the mix with a spoon if it is thick
·
Switch to high speed and
blend till mix is creamy and smooth
·
Serve in a bowl and garnish
with chocolate chips/ chunks and toasted peanuts
4. Pina Colada
·
Take ½ cup of frozen
pineapples , a splash of coconut milk and 1 frozen banana
·
Blend them on low speed
·
Scrape the sides of blender
and Loosen up the mix with a spoon if it is thick
·
Switch to high speed and
blend till mix is creamy and smooth
·
Serve in a bowl, and
garnish with pineapple chunks and pumpkin seeds
5. Very Berry Smoothie
·
Take 1 cup of frozen berry
mix , a splash of coconut milk or almond milk
and 1 frozen banana
·
Add them to a blender on
low speed
·
Scrape the sides of blender
and loosen up the mix with a spoon if it is thick
·
Switch to high speed and
blend till mix is creamy and smooth
·
Serve and top them off with
sliced strawberries, blueberries, chia seeds and desiccated coconut
6. Green Bae Smoothie
·
Take half a frozen avocado,
spinach, 1 frozen banana, almond milk and dates
·
Add them to a blender on
low speed
·
Scrape the sides of blender
and loosen up the mix with a spoon if it is thick
·
Blend till mix is creamy
and smooth
·
Serve and top them off with
cut up strawberries, chia seeds and desiccated coconut
7. Strawberry Smoothie
·
Take 1 ½ cup of frozen
strawberries, 1 frozen banana, ½ cup of Greek yogurt, 1 cup chilled orange
juice
·
Add them to a blender on
and blend to make little chunks
·
Switch to high speed and
blend until mix is smooth
·
Scrape the sides of blender
and loosen up the mix with a spoon if it is thick
·
Serve and top them off with
sliced strawberries, chia seeds, granola and sliced bananas
Tips and
Benefits:

Make sure your fruits are
frozen if you want to achieve the ice cream like consistency
·
Another tip is that you can
sneak in some vegetables in your smoothie bowl as well, like spinach and kale.
Add honey as a sweetener if you it is required
·
The great thing about
smoothie bowls is that you don’t need any added sugar as it’s made from
naturally sweet ingredients
·
It is an easy and quick way
to get in some fruits and vegetables in your kids diet
·
You can add in some protein
powder if you make protein shakes or want to increase your intake of protein
